ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC KSA Secures Major Contract For 110 KV Underground Cable Extension In Saudi Arabia
ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC KSA's High Voltage Projects Sector has been granted a large contract by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to extend 110 kV subterranean cables throughout the Kingdom. This project aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of Saudi Arabia's electrical transmission infrastructure, thereby strengthening the country's power system.
As part of this endeavor, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC KSA will connect the new Riyadh 110/13.8 kV Substation, which will strengthen Riyadh's power supply network. In addition, the project will offer backup feeding for HP2 and KZM BSPs in Jeddah, ensuring higher resilience and reliability for the region's industrial zones. The award of this contract indicates the SEC's continuous confidence in ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC KSA's capacity to produce high-quality, technologically sophisticated projects while adhering to the strictest quality control requirements.
